A fight on bourbon street. The training of a lifetime? Pushing to new levels? No one supposedly could do it better. It was a bright light that attacked all those who stepped outside. From the understanding given to Kaigen, the fight was pure weapons. Kaigen was going to learn how to get down with the big dogs. The sixteen year old stood in the correct spot he felt he should be standing. A few feet from a metal railing, and right before that, a large stage. A replica of the konoha chuunin exams: the ruin version. The landscape looks beat up and abandoned; however, real warriors saw it as a battleground of color and pure understanding.

The teenager couldn't help but wait. The visual: A ground for combat. The attire he harbored was as simple as black everything: jogging-like pants, short sleeve shirt, and a bunch of visible seals around his forearms. He was confident in his power to learn something, but at the same time to push himself farther than before. This evening he would await for his training of a lifetime.

It was for the training on Zento's new student was one his student would more than likely never forget. He did inform him about the area just being an earthy and grassy arena. However, where the arena was located was what made it even more fun. The arena was located in a Dark tall Castle close to a Volcano. The castle had a moat of Lava around it from the Volcano erupting long ago and still leaking out the Lava from a path built into it from Zento. The man was sitting in his dining hall. Enjoying a nice drink before the fight. Zento had been resting in his castle for years. Keeping everything to himself. His knowledge, his power, his passion, and his blood lust. But, one man dared to come towards him for his Training. Knowing the stories of this man and everything he can do and has done. Zento studied the man for a while and agreed to train him with weapons. Showing him how Zento truly fights. Most of his opponents knew Zento for the toys he used. But, those were nothing but training weights for Zento. He felt to train this man, Zento must do it. Not his toys. The true Zento must make his appearance. He would walk down the hallways. The mortal human being. Ready to enforce his teachings. His Rule of Two.

One student was all that Zento wanted. No more than that. For he was taught under those same principles. One student, and one teacher. Of course, Zento didn't mind helping people and guide them through a task. However, he wouldn't ever truly take anyone under his teachings. Until this one at least. Zento saw something. Something in this one that was different than the rest. Zento wanted to see just if he could see it again in this fight or not. That was the purpose for Zento in his match. To show him just how weapon combat style can work, and to see that spark. Zento knew he would see it again. And wanted to see more of it. Zento walked down the long hallway to the arena. His footsteps could echo through the metal floors to the arena. The sound of his foot hitting the ground sounding like he was wearing shoes. Then finally, walking into the light of the area.

Zento appeared just as he did all those years ago. Long black hair with a scar under his eye. A nice dress shirt and black tie loosened to his chest and a black jacket with a nice pare of pants and dress shoes. Last and not least, the thing everyone knew Zento for, his top hat. Zento said nothing to his Student. He gave a serious look and then grabbed a scroll. The both of them standing in this area. Looking like the two of them were in a dome. Zento would open the scroll and a small cloud of smoke appeared. Quickly, the smoke left as he swung the weapon in his hand. It was a scythe. The handle was black and the blade itself appeared to be burned. However, there was nothing special about the scythe. Just one built by Zento. He would rest the staff part behind him with the blade pointing towards the ground. The blade appeared to be about three feet long and about three feet tall where the blade connected to the staff. Zentos eyes were covered in the shadow of his hat. And then, a small smile could be seen. Zento was ready for his student to show what he was made up. Looking up at his opponent to show all of his face. Revealing his eyes now red with three dots around. The sharingan eyes. The one thing that most people had forgotten with time was, The real Zento was in fact, a bloodline of the Uchiha clan. Zento spoke calmly to his student. Just one word.

"Come."

The castle itself gave Kaigen a small hollow feeling. The feel would likely have to wait to explore but it was hard to dismiss. The Valcano around the castle really gave Kaigen the kind of feeling of a 'till death do us part' kind of fight. It was quite fatal in the sense of feelings could be concern. He could still smell burnt rock. Kaigen usually didn't get teachers. This one had too much mystery to pass up. Zento had this whole castle to train, study, mold, and perfect every technique he could think of. Kaigen never dreamed of finding a spot to just train until he got it right. You remember that part where Zento started his epic yet creepy walk towards the arena? Yeah? Kaigen remembered it too. It sounded like each heart beat matched the steps, the anticipation, the fear, the excitement, and the pain were moving all in steps. The steps were heard as slow and calm, no sense of rush, and no other signs to read.

Kaigen was able to somehow pinpoint the origin of the sounds, but before he knew it, the king has arrived. He stood quite a distance away from him, hell even from a higher ground than the stage, but even he felt he couldn't get away from whatever Zento had in mind. See now the stage had a contestant, and with it, the imaginary crowd would go wild. Imaginary is what it was because to Kaigen, it was elevation in human form. The visual on Zento showed a well tailored man that from a beginner would assume a lost busniess man, but a more experienced type, could see this man was right where he was best. On the battlefield. But now it was Kaigen to face this monster, a man who hopefully, could help Kaigen break through any limits he harbors.

The scroll that came out of nowhere had a reason for it's presence when held by Zento. Once it's origin had been revealed, Kaigen did is first physical reaction: a blink. The blink was caused by curious nature, truth be told, the boy's never seen a scythe in action before. Likely his mistaken and fortune. The swing with the scythe shouldn't had done any kind of physical damage due to the range they were standing. it was a weapon battle, so he knew he had to get closer. For this fight, he choose his Ring of Organized Chaos on his arm. It weaponize his chakra chains to be any kind of weapon he needed so long as it was attached to him. This would allow him to switch things up between defense, offense, and many different flavors of weaponry.

Kaigen told himself he was done being so far apart. Kaigen lightly leaped onto the railing in front of him, sticking a landing of course, with his body surging with energy. Fight and flight type of deal. His body slowly started as a forward body tilt but soon could be described as a freefalling. As the areial shift changes, so did his tactic, when he pushed off the wall with the strength of his feet - A self launching basic for the epic fights like this - propelled him into the air. Quickly making his way to evenly ground, once making contact with the ground with his hands, performed a basic frontal flip. The flipped placed him exactly fifteen meters from his humanoid target. He kept his body and mind as focused as possible eyeing his teacher, especially the scythe, trying to figure out what he was working with.

Before he could really get any kind of hint he was vocally challenged. No time for plans or tactics: it was a specialist battle. He started with something basic for the testing match. His left arm pointed forward for the purpose of Kaigen. Kaigen launched out two chakra chains from his palms. The chakra chains had a mace ball at the ends of them, used for a direct blow. A forward attack could just mean a forward defense. First step would be figuring out how the train move. Zento was the train, and Kaigen needed to know how to defuse him. The chains were an orange color and seeking to hit his opponent in the chest - but of course they both knew it wasn't going to make contact with human skin.

Zento stood completely still. Reading his opponent and all of his moves. Focusing in on his weapon. Zento would put his left hand behind him in his pouch to grab a weapon and charging forward. His eyes narrowed on his opponents weapon in hand. Zento would watch the chain fly at him and he would charge at it. The distance closing in fast as Zento was five meters away. At the moment the chain was a close as it could be, Zento dogged to the side. Moving his free hand out of the pouch behind him. Pulling out a small curved blade dagger. Zento would slam the blade through the loops of the chain and impale the ground at a curved angle. Causing the blade to be extremely hard to be pulled out of the ground without moving the blade back through the curved motion. Zento's movement did not stop however, he kept charging forward. His distance only a few feet away. Zento would spin the scythe around to have the blade behind himself and the bottom of the staff facing his opponent and the blade pointing down at the ground.

As he closed in the distance, Zento would use the staff to push into his opponents gut. Zento also stepping to the side his student's chains where not coming from and going to plant his foot over Kai's. For him to more than likely lock him in place. Moving his scythe in motion to spin the blade clockwise and knock the staff upwards to knock the bottom of the staff into the bottom of his opponents jaw and hopefully knock some teeth out. Sliding the staff to keep his scythe moving and make the blade go upwards and slice from the bottom of his students gut all the way up his chest. Of course it wouldn't kill his student. But, he would have a lot of blood loss from the blade.

What Zento loved the most about the blade of a Scythe was that the blade cuts a lot cleaner than most other weapons. Causing the chances of natural blood clotting to stop the bleeding very unlikely and spill fast. Especially when the blood is pumping fast from the shock of the attack and the heat of battle. His opponent would more than likely go into shock as well. However, Zento was sure a simple attack like this could be dogged. He wanted to see just what his opponent could do from this and to learn from it.

PostSubject: Re: Cut - Scene - Action   Cut - Scene - Action Icon_minitimeSun Feb 21, 2016 11:57 pm

The chakra chains shot through the air like bullets aiming to tame and harm the intended target with speed. The point was to figure out if his target would defend, counter, or change stance. At this point he wasn't sure. Kaigen's mood did not sway or misdirect itself once he finally got a chance to see the defense Zento had against the chains. He did not have any expectations with that basic move, but Kaigen was feeling almost disappointed when he saw him merely dodge it by standard physical means. In Kaigen's mind he almost pictured the man using some kind of ultra fancy move despite the motive being quite basic. Then before Kaigen could mentally no-quite-ponder on it his teacher did something that really pierced the wall in Kaigen's brain.

More like piercing a dagger into the wall with his chains in the middle of them. A pin down? The tactic was noted to be quite deadly by standard terms; however, this was far from an ordinary situation. Five meters was still five meters. The arms of human beings were usually around three feet or so, then let's add the range of the scythe. Let's be precise about this fight shall we? See, what Kaigen was very much capable of doing was extending his chakra and moving freely - within range of the pinned chain - but still more than enough movement area for acrobats. The two mere chains were composed of his left hand, still extended, but he could produce more chains than the ones on the battlefield. He wasn't going to risk his life placing more effort into pulling the sword from the chains just to create a more opening, so he'd just have to fight a bit tied down. No biggie right? Kaigen did a backwards lean just in the clearance to dodge the spinning of the scythe just encase it did try to come around unexpectedly to whack or hack at him.

Change of stance.

A momentary station of not cutting or shredding. Kaigen could mentally note on how his teacher could really swing his weapon around. "Oh, No you don't!" Now it was his right hand on his forearm that made it's way to magic. By Magic: The chakra chains formed into a circular orange shield of chakra big enough to defend himself. Timing was everything. Once the ending of the staff came directly as a threat to his gut, Kaigen did something pretty sick. He released his weight for just a moment before using his left arm to grab a hold of the chain, pulling it and himself into launching forward in a fast burst. The distance being as close as possible, used the shield to try and deflect the staff to the right side of his body, but while doing such, still in forward fast motion.

Combo breaker. The deflection was used as not only a defense but a straight forward opening to an attack. So it was no suprise that right after the chakra shield connecting with the staff his left foot went into the air aiming for the man's side. That was the first kick, second kick was used by the same left leg aiming for side of Zento's left leg. A double kick to the side and knee as fast as he could with a final switch jump front forward kick in his gut to wind and/or knock him off balance. Balanced was the key. He made two steps backwards while keeping his guard ready. He had so much to learn, yet only thing that really mattered at that moment was to stay alive. Maybe through survival he'll learn something. Let's find out.

Zento smiled at his student. He was using timing and making sure that everything went exactly the way it needed to go. Zento however, was a master at both keeping his timing going, and changing others timing and using it against them. The moment Zento's scythe made contact with the shield, he continued his motions. Allowing the scythe to slide upwards from the shield and point straight with the blade side touching the floor. Now, most would see this as Zento being completely open, however, Zento had other plans in mind. With one quick motion, Zento would lift himself up with the pole of the scythe and hold himself in the air with perfect balance. Once the shield went to bash where Zento once was, it would hit into his pole. Causing Zento to stumble. Of course, also what he planned for.

Once the scythe and shield made contact, Zento pushed his weight forward and lifted the scythe up to catch the bottom of the shield with the blade. Pulling the shield upward and over the mans shoulders. Combo breaking his student just as he did to Zento. At that moment, Zento would land behind his student. Having their backs to each other, Zento would use his right leg to stomp behind his opponents left knee to cause him to fall. Then, Zento would unhook his blade from the shield and go to bring it to his students neck with a quick pulling motion. However, if everything went as planned, Zento would stop it the moment it made contact with skin. He had no plans on killing this one off. He needed to see how weapons played. Both in strength and weaknesses.

For instance, the Chains. While quite useful for binding and swinging heavy objects, if someone plays with the opening of their loops, they can easily be taken advantage of and pinned to the ground as Zento had done. When it came to the shield, it was a very effective way to defend and also bash. But, if someone can get a hold of the shield or use a weapon to get around the shields size, it would be ineffective. That was one of the main reasons Zento loved the use of a scythe so much. It wasn't very powerful by any means like most weapons. But it was faster than most and could get around shields with fair ease. Not to mention most people who go against it focus too much on the blade instead of the weapon as a whole. Zento couldn't remember the last time he used a scythe. Using this weapon brought back some old memories of times of war. How many were there? How many screams silenced? How many Kings and Queens dethroned? How many innocent people? Zento lost count long long ago.

Was he just doing his job? He could say that. But, The team he was apart of and himself all knew that wasn't the case. Zento did it because he needed to. Because he wanted to. He needed to take on more challenges. The more life threatening the better. Meeting a few people in his travels but never sticking around for long once his job was finished. He would slay villages day in and day out Nothing satisfied his blood lust. After many years, Zento had moved away and found this area. Building his kingdom for himself. However, he saw himself as a tyrant more than a king. And built this place as nothing more than for someone to stare at and know only one man stood inside it. The monster that needed to be killed. Zento knew one thing for sure. Time was one thing he could not escape. With that being said, he refused to simply fade away. He would make sure that he was someone to be chased down like an animal. Much like he did back in his prime. One day, someone will come here to take him out. Surpass him and guide for a better future. Maybe his student would be the one to do it. Was that what Zento saw in him? Who knows.

The scythe against the shield? to be fair they are by far to be both two creative standard weapons. One with a particular shape in mind while the other has a frontal position for a line of defense. Kaigen should've been more honest with himself in just using his weaponry as a bo-staff or batons. A shield was not something he ever used unless a direct attack is pressured on him in a situation where defense trumps evasion. So he decided it was effective to use a shield as a line of offense, not bad, if he knew what he were doing. Truth is he wasn't. He was hoping the heat of battle will guide him to victory. In victory he was thinking just a better position than near disarmed. The shield was technically something he just thought up with, not knowing the power and flexibility of a scythe, he thought complete defense until otherwise. Maybe it was his mistake? Perhaps he should've stuck with what he really knew. Kaigen was placed in a critical situation of impulse and danger. He'd have to react as fast as he could. It was the right arm that had the shield, while the left arm had the chain, right?

So the right arm that was currently unable to release itself from the events to unfold, and the left arm mobilized quickly. Once he saw the situation unfold and the tricky blade making it's way under the shield it was on like donkey kong with a thong on. So the clash was the trap, but swinging his left hand around to have the chain between his right forearm and on top of the blade of his teachers scythe? Priceless. His hands held on to the chain pulling it down just as hard as the speed of him slamming his shield down. A chain loop slammed over the tip of the scythe blade - similar to how the dagger pinned his chain in place - Kaigen would use his shield in a downward bashing technique. This would be used to pin and with the strength of him and the attempt Zento tried - it should flip him just a bit but the biggest thing? Disarm him before he get disarmed.

Zento would focus on his opponent. The sharingan eyes helping him read all of his opponents movements right down to the last muscle twitch. He would move his hands around his pole and spin his body around. moving the curved blade of the scythe. The one thing about a curved blade is how easy it is to move around and keep moving. As the loop of the chain when to go into the tip of the scythe, Zento would pull forward and to the shield. spinning the pole around to spin the blade avoiding the shield and jumping back. pushing himself with the end of the scythe with the blade to push him from the ground and increasing his speed and creating some distance. Zento would spin the blade around him to lay on his back. Hunched over eyeing his opponent. Zento would push the bottom of the scythe into the ground. Causing it to crack and hold the scythe in place for him. Zento standing about five meters away from his opponent.

Zento would grab out a kunai and throw it. He would also form chakra strings around the kunai to help move it around The sound of a bell ringing from the kunai. Showing the bell flapping in the wind at his opponent as Zento threw some hand seals. Finishing up, All around the kunai more kunai appeared with strings all over them. This jutsu was a very common one for him to use. Creating clones of his kunai. All of the bells ringing. However, this was nothing more than a distraction. The handle of the kunai was covered in small bumps. Then, Zento would grab his scythe and put the blade over his eyes. The bumps exploding between the two of them in bright lights. Zento already covered his eyes was clear of sight. His opponent on the other hand would have no way of noticing the flash bang and even with the small second he might have, ZEnto would use his strings to move the blades where the shield would not protect his eyes. Zento's strings disconnecting then remaking Chakra strings around his scythe and setting it down. He would charge his opponent reaching into his pouch. The seals activating inside. Pulling out a war hammer about the size of his scythe as he charged his opponent.

The end of it was large and a heavy weapon. He would pull it all the way back and slide in front of his opponent. His arm still being tied down and his eye sight still slowly coming back. At most all he would see was a shadow of his opponent holding a pole. "Take this!" Zento would say giving his appearance and allowing his opponent to know he was in front of him. With eye sight more than likely gone, and still confused, instinct would kick in and make his opponent more than likely go for a block. Not knowing how to move or where the attack would come from exactly, trying to doge would be way to risky. Zento's War Hammer going as hard as it could to his opponent. Knowing he more than likely thought he still had a scythe in his hand, would not realize that blocking a massive weapon like this would easily knock him off his balance and with the blunt force cause serious damage and harm to whatever it hit. Even if his shield were to go into the way, his arm would feel the force of that hammer and cause extreme pain through out his arm with the shield. It would be interesting to see how he handles it.

In order to break old limits, one must strive for new ones. This was Kaigen's way of destroying his limits. Zento Uchiha. The fight hasn't even started yet, they were barely warming up in Kaigen's eyes. Battling was not about strength or power, but the ability to overcome your opponent with any means needed. So far he was attempting to switch his style while fighting a harder opponent. So far no ninjutsu or genjutsu was used. He was trying to focus on the mechanics of his power and work on better executing advanced combat sequences.

The twin took great pride in knowing exactly what he would attempt next. So back to the situation of crisis; the scythe of doom. Naturally he expected his teacher to have something much more potent than an actual frontal attack. The active acrobatics did prove unpredictable; however, unpredictable was still very predictable. So spinning the scythe evading the chain loop action, it placed the scythe right where Kaigen needed him to be. Next part: using the other hand. What he used it for?

One powerful and quick attack. The attack was a forward jab shield thrust to knock the scythe to the ground, hopefully far, but mainly to disarm and detain his teacher. It was used to practically made his sensei bust his shit in an almost desperate attempt to make his sensei fall. The sharingan was good but how good was Zento?. The key was not only not to hesitate once his teacher moved his scythe in safe striking zone but to make his moves as effective as possible. He used the distance of his arm and the scythe which was extremely close to increase his accuracy of course. Speed and Distance right?  The chain that was holding him? Vanished. The chakra chains in his body don't retract inside the user's body, it fades into nothingness once the user is done with them. He played along to catch a glimpse of his teachers game.

A quick three step burst of movements was used by Kaigen to gain a good eight meters of distance. His hands went in the air. Surrender? You are correct. Kaigen was surrendering, but what was it to give. Let's find out. "I must admit I'm a bit impressed. Show me more." Both weapons in his arms easily and without struggle shifted into two orange colored batons shaped and fueled by his own chakra. The batons were two and a half feet long and very thick. He moved into a position to combat his opponent, awaiting a response or something of the sort.

Zento eyes narrowed. His student focused on trying to disarm Zento. Wasn't a bad tactic to use. It wasn't like Zento did have more weapons to use. When he felt his Scythe being pushed from the shield, Zento would have done a number of things. He chose to keep it simple. Zento would jump forward with the pull of his scythe and plant his feet on his students back and run along the side of his body. Kicking himself off from the shield. Landing a few feet from his student. He would pull out his scroll and have the scythe go back inside it. Zento would then reach into his pouch and pull from it another scroll. This one having a name on it unlike the scythe he pulled out before. The words written on it was, 'Phantom Blade'. A tool Zento made long ago. With a flick of the wrist, the scroll opened and a cloud of smoke appeared.

The cloud of smoke would vanish and appearing in Zento's hand was a katana. The blade about five feet long and the handle just a foot with a thick red cloth about three feet hanging off the end of the handle. He would hold this blade with one hand pointing it at his opponent. pulling the sword behind him. His arm across his chest as his eyes narrowed on his opponent. Taking a deep breath, Zento's blade began to glow blue and Zento swung. The blue aura forming around the tip of the blade. Creating chakra blades around the sword to increase the distance of it. However, with the swing, a loud noise could be heard. Much like the winds of a hurricane. The ground under the swing rising up and slashes all through the ground charging like a bull at his student. It appeared to be a ball of wind. The size was about ten feet tall and eight feet wide with a twelve foot spacing from the center of the ball inside to the edges. The ball was traveling and closing in fast. Zento would pull the sword to his hip and swing again. Another ball of wind forming but not leaving from his blade. This time, the ball appeared to the right of his opponent and explode out with the razor winds This ball about half the size as the one traveling to his student. Then, creating more wind balls. Every time pulling his sword to his hip and swinging it out. Each wind ball forming around his opponent. His eyes keeping track of his movements. If the one traveling would miss or hit, it would keep going until it slammed into the wall of the arena Slicing through it like it was butter.

Zento would grab the cloth on the end spin the blade around at an angled to keep it from slicing through the ground. Zento's eyes would look towards his student. Seeing how he would handle moves which were hard to spot. He needed to see the length of his student. Pushing him as hard as he could. Seeing how much he could take and give back. If the student tried to rush, Zento would speed himself up. Making sure that his attacks could not be stopped and forcing his student to have to deal with the on coming assault.

You couldn't be any less shocked at the lengths Zento was going keeping Kaigen alive. It was a specific moment that changed the tide of battle from within Kaigen. Did he really understand what he was getting himself into? One moment. Perhaps he wasn't used to losing like this. To have a man step on your back was giving a clear message. He was out classed. It actually hurt his feelings a bit to be fair about it. So the teacher that appeared gave him a small hint of discomfort. Would it be wrong to assume he would fair better? Despite searching accross the galaxy pretty much, to find a suitable teacher, he managed to feel his ego shattered when he felt outclassed in a series of minutes.

Kaigen didn't have much of a game plan for now, other than survive that is. For now Zento managed to show a creative form of combat. Kaigen was not done yet. He had much to show. Zento's plan to create distance gave Kaigen a chance for more research on the current task at hand. So the moment Zento's body went doing extra flips to get quite literally above and beyond Kaigen it was set an ultimate attack. Zento's sharingan couldn't precept it fast enough in Kaigen's opinion. The range was too close and there was no setup or time to mold chakra. The attack was more fast than deadly to be truthful.

All he did? Four Swords of disruptive chakra bursted from his back and aimed towards Zento. If struck, the target would likely be pierced and their chakra disrupted and nullified. The impact however was just enough to knock him from the sky and/or ground. If of course is the major word. The Uzumaki Chains were basic before Kaigen. He remodeled and strengthen his abilities to extreme heights. He calculated his teachers speed and timing, his own timing, and probability. It was simple. Where is the most safest place from your enemy? Behind them. It was such a basic proceedure he barely pondered on the situation. Almost like second nature.
